PRIVACY POLICY

Your location stays focused on one purpose.

Flightdisplay uses your device location to show live aircraft near you. It does not use your location for advertising or tracking.

Information we process

When you allow location access, Flightdisplay processes your approximate or precise latitude and longitude to calculate nearby aircraft and their distance from you. The app also stores display preferences locally on your device.

How location is used

Your coordinates are sent securely to the Flightdisplay service for the immediate request. They are used only to return nearby flight information. Flightdisplay does not create an account, build a location history, sell location data or use it for personalised advertising.

External flight-data services

Flightdisplay retrieves aircraft and route information from OSIRIS and ADSBDB. These providers supply flight data; your coordinates are processed by the Flightdisplay service to select and order relevant results.

Retention and security

Flightdisplay does not intentionally store your location in a user profile or permanent location database. Standard technical logs may temporarily contain an IP address and diagnostic information for reliability and security. Connections use HTTPS.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke location access at any time in Android or browser settings. Without location access, Flightdisplay cannot determine which aircraft are near you. You can remove locally stored preferences by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.

Children

Flightdisplay is a general-audience flight-information display. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or offer social, account or messaging features.
